Applying Remote Work Skills as an Author

Stuart Jakins has had plenty of experience working with children, yet he wanted to figure out a way to apply his narrative skills to help children improve their literacy skills as a remote worker.

After applying the skills he learned from the ROI program, he pursued an entrepreneurial path by authoring childrens' books online.

"Using the skills I learned from the Certified Remote Work Professional© and Certified Sales Professional©

courses, I am now authoring, marketing, and selling children's books on Amazon."

Increasing Business Confidence Through the E-Commerce Accelerator

For Jessie Spendlove, building an online store for her family farm felt like climbing a mountain.
Onward Homestead, in Virgin, Utah, sells everything from seasonal produce and pistachios to chicken, eggs, and home-baked bread. Creating a website that could bring all those products together while still capturing the story behind the farm was no small task.
Through the E-Commerce Accelerator (ECA), Jessie worked one-on-one with a business consultant to develop an e-commerce website around how Onward Homestead operates. The site helps customers discover available products, learn where to find the farm locally, and understand the growing practices behind their food products.

“I learned digital marketing skills and how to better appeal to customers online. There’s so much to learn, but ECA program helped me learn the backend of creating the actual website. It seemed like a mountain in my mind, and I would not have been able to do this alone.”

After completing the ECA program, Jessie increased her confidence selling through her new website and is processing orders by herself.

If you're ready to build or improve your business website, see how the E-Commerce Accelerator can help.

"To thrive in the age of AI, we have to distinguish between the tools we use and the capabilities we possess. If we can’t think without these machines, I would argue we are not thinking at all."
